Sotheby's organiseerde vorige week zijn laatste goede wijnverkoop in Hong Kong en verkocht 99% van zijn kavels die in totaal HK $ 121.683.750 opbrachten, met zes Vosne Romanée, Cros Parantoux 1989 Henri Jayer magnums bovenaan de verkoop.
Sotheby’s hosted its latest fine wine sale in Hong Kong last week, selling 99% of its lots that brought in a total of HK$121,683,750, with six Vosne Romanée, Cros Parantoux 1989 Henri Jayer magnums topping the sale.
The sale offered 963 lots in total and 99% of them were sold. According to Sotheby’s, 33% of buyers under the age of 40; where 92% of lots received were advance online bids and 40% were sold to advance bidders.
The top lot was six Vosne Romanée, Cros Parantoux 1989 Henri Jayer magnums, which were sold for HK$3,000,000.
There were more Burgundy lots that achieved strong results. In total, the 404 lots, totalling HK$94,813,750, realised more than double the low estimates. 75 lots of Henri Jayer spanning six decades each surpassing their high estimates, brought a combined total of HK$66,275,000; 75 lots of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti spanning seven decades sold for a combined total of HK$14,046,250; 41 lots of Domaine Ramonet spanning four decades, totalling HK$4,725,000.
